Kingdom v. Trump Gender-Affirming Care Class Action

In March 2025, the ACLU filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of an estimated 2,000 transgender inmates in federal prisons who allegedly were denied gender-affirming healthcare and related items under the administration's policy. A district court issued an injunction in June 2025, and the administration is currently asking the Supreme Court to lift that injunction.
