AI Subscribers’ Alleged Antitrust Collusion Lawsuit

Four consumers filed a proposed class-action antitrust lawsuit against Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, and Google, alleging that the companies coordinated to slow improvements to their AI products in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act. The plaintiffs seek class certification for U.S. paid subscribers, injunctive relief, and declaratory relief; the matter is at the filing stage.
