Patient Class Action Against MultiCare Over Spine Surgeries

Patients alleged that MultiCare failed to respond adequately to concerns about a neurosurgeon and permitted unnecessary, excessive, or otherwise improper spine surgeries that allegedly endangered patient safety. MultiCare has reached a settlement in the class action; the settlement still must be finalized.
