Jones v. Fanatics Sports Trading-Card Antitrust Class Action

Collectors alleged that Fanatics monopolized or attempted to monopolize the sports trading-card market through acquisitions, exclusive licensing arrangements, and related conduct, causing higher prices, reduced consumer choice, lower output, and diminished card quality. On September 29, 2026, the court dismissed the putative class action in its entirety for lack of Article III standing and ordered the case closed.
