New Hampshire Municipalities’ PFAS Firefighting Gear Class Action

The city of Keene and town of Londonderry filed a federal class action against 3M Company, EIDP and DuPont affiliates, W.L. Gore & Associates, Fire-Dex, Lakeland Industries, and Morning Pride Manufacturing. The municipalities allege that PFAS-containing firefighting turnout gear was inadequately disclosed and seek recovery of costs associated with replacing it with PFAS-free equipment; the matter was filed and the plaintiffs are demanding a jury trial.
